Me? Top Trainer Ranking? Aw Shucks.

I got a fun email today! It seems I made Stud Bar Pull-Ups’ list of 39 Best Trainers! I am not sure how they noticed my online work, but I’m flattered to be included! You can read the full article here, and the reviews I’ve read about their pull-up bars are all positive, so you might want to consider one for yourself! (I am not an affiliate and will not receive compensation if you choose to buy.) Perhaps they noticed me because I’ve talked on Google+ about working on my pull-ups. I can’t do one unassisted yet, but I’m working on it!  I keep track of my progress, and I’m already using 40 lbs less assistance than when I began! I’m pretty excited about that. I’ve got a ways to go, but I’ll get there. I’LL GET THERE. Speaking of progress, I have two special workouts for you this week! The first is a Fit Test! This fit test is designed to provide benchmark information that you can record and use to measure your progress! 5 exercises. Two exercises you’ll aim to do for as long as possible, and the remaining three exercises you’ll go for as many reps as possible in a set amount of time. It’s all explained in this Fit Test Video!   The second workout I have for you is the next video in my 8-Minute Abs series! This time it’s Intermediate Level. It is sure to challenge your abs, your back, and your obliques and help you build a strong core in no time! Top off your Quickie Workouts with this (or 8-Minute Abs...

8-Minute Abs for Beginners!

We have a brand new specialty workout for y’all this week – 8-Minute Abs! And since we’ve been hitting it hard with our Quickies, we’re gonna dial it down a few notches this week and start with a beginner level abs workout. Beginners – REPRESENT! Got no spunk in your trunk? I’m here for you. If you need something more challenging, I give a few suggestions in the video. You could also do it 2 or 3 times through, or for longer intervals. Make it your own, bitches! Add this to the end of your Quickie workouts! Or do it on your active rest day. Do it regularly to build some excellent foundational core strength that will make all your Quickies easier!  And since there’s no new Quickie posted this week, might I suggest you tackle It’s Go Time!, the very first Quickie we launched! If that one doesn’t float your boat, here is the whole list of 17 workouts, all on one page, in order, Fussy McFussypants. (I’m sorry I called you Fussy McFussypants.) Ok then. Grab your mat and a towel and let’s get started! 8-Minute Abs – Beginner Level        ...
